So much respect. Pepper appreciates Rhodey a lot and she knows that he doesn't always have an easy time being in the middle between the military and his best friend. She gets a kick out of his Rhodey-ish sense of humor and the way he's able to call Tony out and he always holds his ground. Pepper feels safer knowing Rhodey's around.

Pepper considers Bruce a friend although she's not always sure Bruce feels the same way. There's a lot more to Bruce than is on the surface. She's sure people think it naive but Pepper never really believed Bruce murdered Vesper. She doesn't think that Bruce REALLY has it in him to murder anyone but certainly not someone he cared for and never a woman and never with a gun. She enjoys talking to Bruce even when they don't see eye to eye. He's one of the few people whose respect she cares very much about.

In a way Pepper wishes that Dylan hadn't found out about his father just yet. She thinks he should have been able to hold on to his privacy and in a way his childhood a little bit longer. He's a good kid and she worries about what being part of Tony's life will cost him because she knows first hand that it's not easy. Dylan impresses Pepper with his maturity and his kindness and she's very interested in seeing what he'll be like as he gets older. and she'll rip anyone's throat out that tries to hurt him.Harry ( ... )
