The cats still don't like each other. Gris-gris proved how dumb males are by getting the calming collar under his lower jaw - at 5:30AM in the morning. Sans-souci is being extremely affectionate, even when The Hubby is trying to sleep in the evenings. And Mignonne is getting OK with the door open when I am at the computer but very wary all the same

Our second cat acquisition as a couple was highlighted by Greybeard despising Greybrother. I was living away at the time, so i only heard the stories. One day Greybrother escaped off the roof and disappeared. When he returned several days later Greybeard was delighted to see him. The lesson i've taken away is that cats don't show that they've made friends, but they do enjoy the companionship of their nemesis.
