I donated blood today, got home, and immediately peed out more silt from my kidney stones.

Unless there's some weird medical connection, I am being rewarded by having the goddamn things come out as dust. My back had been giving me Hell for about a week.

They let you donate, with your medical problems? I can't, having spent six months or so in Europe after 1980, although I haven't come down with mad cow disease yet.

A USian friend now resident here had these issues and the good ol' NHS used the ultrasound to great effect.

Well, they're leaving as powder whose particles are of negligible diameter, whereas they could be leaving my body displaying solidarity....
