So I'm being really stupid by looking at possible cosplays before heading off to work (taking a shower etc...). So far, I've looked at Beatrix (FFIX), Chii (Chobits), maybe some stuff form Code Geass (yeah yeah...call me a hyprocrite...I actually started watching the gorram thing recently...well...more of it). Sweet! What's nice, I guess, is that then G-20's going to be in Pittsburgh, so we get a few days off ^^, so I can head up to you for a few days, maybe ^^.

Got any ideas for cosplay?

Ah, good to see that I won't be the only one. If you look up the Time Life Old West Series from the 70s you won't be disappointed -- "The Gamblers" is packed full of stories and inspiration for your character. Also, there's excellent photos of the real equipment they used, including holdouts and gaming devices. For example, they wore glasses with BLUE lenses to read the invisible ink they marked the cards with in advance. It was also recommended by one author in the 1890s that gamblers wear small compasses as pocket watch fobs to detect electromagnets commonly used to rig gaming tables at the time. Hope this helps, and perhaps we'll play a game of Faro at a convention some time!
