Okay, not really.

But Japan really loves categorizing songs by the season. Certain types of songs have to come out in the summer, certain types come out in the winter.

Probably a classic Japanese pop one is Jitterin' Jinn's "Natsumatsuri" but as a Whiteberry fanboy, I like their version better as it is more exciting for me.

You know, I completely forgot about "Sekai wa Summer Party." How the hell did I do that.

Jitterin' Jinn. That is the greatest band name ever.

I actually like "Hajimete no Keiken" better. You can tell it's a summer song by its video. And the first three words of the song.
