[Hello, small human! What's that you've got there in your bag?

Ammy's certainly interested. Is there food? She'd like you very much if there was food you were willing to share.]

[ Ah.. a wolf? This couldn't be the one they had told him of, could it? It did not seem so fearsome, though, perhaps, a wolf in itself was fearsome. He wonders if he can just get past and then, accordingly, tries it, head down. ]

[Not gonna happen. Ammy walks along with him, though slightly behind him, and tilts her head around to try and get a good look at his face. If he keeps it up, Ammy might just get the message and leave, but she knows how the people of Luceti are when they initially meet her. It's weird, meeting people who are actually afraid of her... But hopefully they stick around enough to get to know her.]

[ He notices the large, fluffy thing happens to be following him. Following him? Why him? He thinks to the food he packed and sighs a bit, turning to her. ]

Would I be wrong to think that you are keen to the food in my sack?

[Also coming across him in town is Tao. Who is rather curious about him. Or at least, people in general.]

Where's your shoes, meow?

[ Well, now, she's a bit frightening with those eyes-- did she just meow at him? He speaks out of courtesy and keeps a distance. ]

It isn't often you'll find a hobbit who wears shoes.

A hobbit is what I am, you see. A halfling, if that's more familiar, though I'm no human.

[Grune is out rambling about, looking for butterflies when she spots somebody she hasn't seen around before. Oh, she loves making new friends!] Good afternoon!

[ Even at home, people don't talk to him quite so much. Not that it bothers him, he isn't the most social of hobbits. Still, kind and polite as he is, though still nervous of talking to these people, he smiles and gives her a nod of acknowledgment. ]

And a good day to you.

[If Frodo should wander near the grocery store, he might recognize Giles sitting by the door, apparently waiting. His eyes are open when they weren't during their last talk, although still evidently blind.]

[ Frodo does recognize him... and this man had been so kind to him. He feels he should greet him, at least out of courtesy. Frodo approaches with caution, for he remembers his sight is gone from him, and he doesn't want to startle him. He keeps a distance between them. ]

Giles, good day to you.

[Giles does seem to register Frodo's presence before the halfling speaks, tilting his head slightly towards him as the other carefully approaches.

So he shows very little sign of surprise when Frodo finally speaks.]

To you as well, Frodo.

Nice to meet you in person.

Yes, I'm glad to see you on my way out. Are you well, then? How are your eyes today?

[Tsuzuki enjoys taking long walks to clear his head. As he walks, he doesn't recognize Frodo right away - he thinks it's a boy. That is also the reason he hurries over, clearly worried.]

Are you going into the forest by yourself?

[ He jumps, just a bit, turning his head towards the familiar voice. Someone he spoke to before, certainly, but the name escapes him and he pauses for a moment to try and put a name on his tongue. ]

... Perhaps not the forest, but somewhere nearby it.

[Tsuzuki takes a few more steps in Frodo's direction, looking up the path he expects the hobbit to take. He still thinks he's too young to go alone, particularly considering the unique dangers in the forest.]

What's your destination?

[ Frodo does not quite look at this man. He already knows what a decent person would say or suggest. It is what he predicts of this person. ]

That, I have yet to decide, but I will find my way as I go along.
