True to his word, John arranges to meet Kai at her apartment, he has Alina and Puff in tow.

He's even brought some homemade hypervodka! He's quite proud of it really.

Kai will here over the intercom. "Yoohoo! The Fun Bridgade is here!"

Her voice comes over the speaker. "I already live here, thank you! Come on up!"

And immediately the door springs open.

John with Alina in arms, will bounce in with Puff in tow.

"Helloooo! I've brought a friend for your dog!" Who's name he can't recall right now...whoops. "And little Alina of course!"

Connor's been forewarned there's a guest coming, but he never looks forward to being sociable to strangers. As soon as John announces his presence, Connor rolls into the room like the dark warning cloud before a thunderstorm. He's a little defensive, on his home turf. Actually, he's extremely defensive no matter where he is. The tiny floaty blonde waif now has a six-foot tall disheveled bodyguard.

Captain John often fails to notice when people look less than impressed to meet him, because Goddesses! how could thave even be possible?!

"Hello fine sir! Your Kai's significant other right? Sorry forgot your name. Captain John Hart and this is Alina."

"....John, this is Connor, and Connor, this is my BFF John, and his precious baby girl, Alina!" Aunt Kairos will take this moment to sweep the toddler up into her arms before covering her in kisses.

Regina will just glare at John's canine companion.

Connor isn't impressed by much, and he doesn't look too friendly. The fact that he needs a shave and has wild hair doesn't help, but his gaze is drawn to the baby. Baby. He has a soft spot for children, even if he's not ready to be a father again, yet. The grey eyes follow Alina in a sweep, watching Kai cuddle the child, and for a few seconds his mind whirls down certain paths of possible future...

It takes him a minute to process your introduction. "He's your what?" It's the kind of accent that's lived all over the world, in a raspy voice. He's also not up on modern slang like 'bff'.
