a place where you can claim a character and then participate in things like memes, contests, activities, and more! join us and meet other harry potter fans while claiming your favorite character!
rules;
1; Anyone can join the hp blog crew. We don't have to be friends. You don't even have to know me.
2. Treat people the way you want to be treated. No one wants to hear you compain about how you didn't get the character that you wanted. It's first come, fire serve. That's the only fair way to do it. Also, we're a civilized community. No lame fandom wars, okay? They're so last year.
3. You can only claim availble characters. If it says taken, that means it's taken. Duh. Also, check the character list before claiming. It's always up to date and it's the easiest way to see whether or not a character is avaible. If someone already claimed your favorite character, pick someone else. No whiners allowed.
4. Fill out the application and once you're approved, you can join. Don't join before then.
5. If you decide to change your username, let me know so I can update your claim, allow you to join, and delete your old account from the member list.
6. If I made a mistake when setting up your claim, tell me, so I can fix it.
7. Don't friend/join the community until your application has been approved.
8. In the application, when it asks Never trust anything that can think for itself... reply with if you can't see where it keeps its brain.
What is a blog crew?
I'm glad you asked! I'm going to quote this from twicrew: "A blog crew is a place for fans of a particular fandom to get together. Each character will have one person to represent them in the blog crew and of course, there may only be one person per character and there are limited places in the crew. Fans in the blog crew may add eachother as friends or just show that they're a fan by becoming part of it."
How can I join?
Just make sure that the character you want isn't already claimed. If it isn't, fill out an application! Once you've done that, your application will be accepted and you'll be invited to join!
Do I have to be like the character I claim?
Not at all! You don't have to be like that character, portray that character, or even like them actually. LOL.
Do I get a banner?
Yes, you do. That information is included in your application. If your character has not been casted in the movies (or will never been in the movies), you can pick who you'd like featured in your banner.
Also, I'm not picky about whether you use your banner or not. Use it, don't use it. Whatever. It's up to you. If you don't want a banner from me, say so in the application. You can make your own for all I care.
Can I claim creatures or animals, like Hedwig or Bane, the centaur?
Yes, you can. I was a little hesitant at first, but I want as many people to join as possible!
