I know this is going to sound odd/kinky/specific, but does anyone have any recs for fics where Draco either (1) has a problem with drinking/drugs/potion use/abuse or (2) gets really drunk/whatever and sort of embarrasses himself in front of Harry? That's Me!! :) :) :) I wrote that! (I'm so flattered that you're recommending my fic !!) And, actually, that's exactly the kind of fic I'm looking for-which is partly why I wrote it in the first place.

Lol, nothing like recommending you to you. That's what I get for replying while punch-drunk in the middle of the night when I can't sleep. I thought I was replying to someone entirely different. When I went back to my f-list to look I realized that the person I thought I was replying to was the next one under this request and the screen I was using is tiny so your icon/name was already off the screen by the time I finished. *sigh* Sorry. No wonder I was immediately reminded of 'Lucky' when I read that request.

Draco grieves and is then in shock.

You might be interested in RussianWolf7's Sidetracked.
Draco doesn't have an addiction there, but he's often drunk on purpose (he has his reasons). The story has great characterizations, in my opinion. :)

A Semblance of Life
This is my fic. There are two parts. Draco is only spoken about in part one, but the second part is all about him. Being drunk. Hope the link works. It's been a while since I tried to do it.
