Oh what a lovely chapter. In the course of my re-reading I stumbled upon this little gem of a line- "Norrington's brows arched a bit, but he managed to say, with admirable gravity, "I know, Jack. I was there." "
First off it was hilarious and completely in character with Norrington. Secondly I imagine that 'admirable gravity' very accurately describes the way in with James deals with Jack on a fairly regular basis in your stories. I loved it.
I'm glad that line of Norrington's gave you pleasure. I was giggling when I wrote it, could just picture the scene so clearly. Norrington and Jack are such a contrast, it's just too much fun to pair them in fic.
