Pebble

Yesterday was Grandpa's birthday. He became 86. I need to stop and get a birthday card before I start out for the day.

This morning I found a poem Tristan wrote stuffed in his backpack with some other schoolwork:

That is an amazing poem...I hear it as angry rather than sad though...like the pebble is some ancient god...enkidu maybe, although he was less a god and more a force of nature personified...

Wow, that is interesting. I wonder if he thinks that a face, like the pebble will live forever even if the person dies.
