“Sorry, Mrs. Kent… apparently AC forgets his manners with good pie,” Chloe stated with a grin. AC swallowed before sticking his tongue at her, causing her to laugh.
“It’s alright… I’m just glad you all like it. It’s been way too long since I’ve made one of my famous pies.” Martha stated, causing her smile to fade slightly.
“Well,” Chloe said with a smile, “we have good news to cheer you up.”
“We’re getting married!” AC stated causing Martha to grin.
“Congratulations!”
