Very Old Memes

May 30, 2012 19:05

This is my day of completing ancient memes. In that spirit, I finally answered all the requests at that curtainfic meme from December.

The second meme I completed is that letter meme that was going around awhile ago. I'll post it here, because I'm happy to give a letter to anyone who wants one:

1. Leave a comment to this post ( Read more... )

hunger games, daredevil, marvel, animorphs, comics, meme, firefly, rent, fullmetal alchemist, mad men

I could have gone with Daisy or Donald, but I don't have strong feelings about them.

Donald is very hurt by your callous words!

I'm sorry, Donald! But you, like the Hulk, are defined primarily by your anger issues, and I can't understand! (Often literally, considering how you speak.)

I'd read a billion words of fic about her -- so it's a good thing, as my last post indicated, that 'Deuce has written them.

Excellent thoughts throughout the meme.

I feel like I should write a billion words about Inara now :P

Haha, aww, sorry! I LIKE Inara, she's just never been my favorite -- probably because she doesn't get as much focus in the limited canon we have. I'd be willing to be persuaded!

(I just realized she is the only female Firefly character I don't have an icon of.)

OH, RACHEL. OH, RACHEL/TOBIAS. I loved how in any other story, the Rachel/Tobias romance probably would have been genderflipped, but in this one, they just got to be exactly how they were. And Rachel! Who got to be tough and strong and coded male, but also got to be pretty and blond and fashionable. Ahhhh, Animorphs, one of my first great spec fic loves. ♥

I started reading Animorphs the summer before 6th grade and it quite LITERALLY changed my life. It will always be my first love.
