You should totally have a fundraiser. You can play the flute on your days off in the tunnel between Suburban Station and 15th Street Station. People will be throwing money at you then. I'll even chip in a few bucks.

On a serious note, I think ALL dental insurance sucks. When I had my root canal, it was $725 and I had no insurance. Put it all on plastic. Paying that off was definitely not fun.

i would cause a SERIOUS fuss at that doc's office - it was the misinformation that led you to get the procedure in the first place, if that daffy bitch hadn't told you it was no cost (as opposed to, uhhh, HUNDREDS) you wouldn't be out. man, that burns my biscuits, and i's have a word with them. it's hard to win against insurers, but its worth a shot. did you mention the mistake when you got billed?
