This semester is slowly wrapping up and i have to say i'm a little sad. I met some really cool people in my classes and i've gotten very comfortable with my schedule. i remember i was nervous in the beginning of the semester, haha. i don't know why looking back. But after classes end i have my Europe trip to look forward to. I mostly want to go to

Haha.Ok Christina, Detroit isn't like the slums of Rwanda or some other third world country. The "poverty" and "heart and pain" was all created by the people that inhabit that area. It's not like these people don't have the chance to better their lives-- they choose not to. By saying that its all "heart and pain" is definately romanticising it more than it deserves. Detroit is a cool place, but its just another city.

Well yeah, i mean there is alot of truth to that. But since i just went to the shrinking cities exihibit, i'm taking a history of Africa class, and i see how the economy is declining, there are alot other factors that have to be taken into consideration.
