So, for all you crafty types in here, the latest thing I've heard about (probably six months after y'all first heard about it?), is the Celtic Slammer. I know, that sounds like a cool alcoholic beverage, right? But it's another para-cord craft.

I can see the weight of this damaging your ignition but if depending on it for self defense, well, first I'd have to find where I put it, then I'd have to untangle it and then, oh heck, I'd be killed by then! Lol

Perhaps you could use a colorful ball in it, then hang it from a tree branch in your yard for a novel gazing ball?

I usually have my knitting with me. I can't think of a better weapon than an extra pointy metal stick!

True. The crooks usually size up their targets before attacking, and one thing they're said to do is check what's in your hands. They're looking for easy targets, not someone who might fight back.

Well, knowing what a klutz I am, I can see that I would be more likely to somehow clobber myself. Now, if I put something else on the end, like a pair of nail clippers or a micro flashlight, that would indeed be handy! Robin found glow in the dark paracord, seems that would be great on a keychain.

Or camping! So you don't choke yourself on tent cords etc, if you get up in the middle of the night.
