Yesterday my brother bought Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and we spent the entire day playing through it. (Well, he played and I watched.) Playing through in one sitting = 16 hours. We had a case of Mountain Dew to keep us going until 4:00 AM, when he finally finished it. Totally worth it. I was exhausted and my legs were stiff

I used to watch my bf play this YEARS back on the ps1 when the first game was out, and then the 2nd game. My friend commented the other day that it's right up my alley for games I'd enjoy... I really should pick up the box set and play them all through. It could be fun (though, I might not be up-to-date with the game in time to fangirl with you... u_u sorry)

I wanted to comment that days like that are awesome, when you can play a game for hours like that (and be with someone else to talk to about it, so it's like a social thing.)

There aren't any outright spoilers in my list of questions ("At what point in the game is it revealed that Snake is in fact not Snake at all, but a unicorn with a penis on his head?"), but there are some clues to a few general plot points. Especially #10. I should really remove that question, but I'm a bit lazy. You should probably ignore them all to be safe.

My brother has the Essential Collection - he said it's bitchin'. I was so pissed that he didn't beat MGS4 until 4:00 AM, and then he had to get up early to leave for his choir tour. It left us with no time to flail over the game. That fucker. But I'll still happily fangirl with you when you finish it. :D
