What the heck? Worst response ever! It's bad enough that they didn't ever send you any information about it, even though you're a regular dealer, but that email is just plain rude. Even a newbie dealer deserves more than a "too bad, better luck next time!" Couldn't they at least have offered to save you a spot next year? Or try to make room for at least one more table? Jerks.

Do they know you've been a dealer there before? Surely they knew that... they can't be THAT unorganized can they?

Yeah, they knew - I mentioned that I had attended for the last two years in my e-mail. Apparently a good rapport with other people in the business in this area is not very important to them. One thing's for sure, if anyone asks me in the future how Banzai is, I will let them know that the people running it are inconsiderate and the whole thing is not put together very well.

Good thing I've got that cake song to get me through this time of strife.

Okay, that makes it worse. Blowing you off in response to an email where you specifically mention being a dealer there the last two years... very stupid.

Why don't they have places where you can go eat cake? I mean like an ice cream place... there are places that serve cake, but you're expected to order dinner first. How come ice cream is the only dessert that gets it's own restaurant?

That seriously blows. But ticking you off was a real bad move on their part. They may not continue to see success if this is how they treat their regular vendors.
