A really good friend of mine here in Dallas has been involved in suspensions for years. I think his group still goes to Austin evvery now and then. He's on BME here.

We studied a body modification artist in my performance art class in college. I think I still have the book and could maybe find the guy's name for you.

I have lots of scars (medical/surgical, granted, but still) and I think they're neat. I don't like the idea of having them minimized or removed. I don't think I quite eroticize them in and of themselves and I don't seek out scarring in and of itself either, but I like what I've got.

No, I think he was based out of New York and I took the class in Chicago. He's in a book we had, though...I can see if I can find it easily at home...
