A/N: Spezza had surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back. He's also one of those high protein low carb people. Thought of this after crazies mentioned Spezza's back surgery in a fic post.
SCAR
Jason watches cartoons, lying on his stomach because his back still hurts. Aqua Teen Hunger Force comes on and he blinks away the memory of Antoine laughing in front of the TV, beer splashing out of his can.
Jason stands naked, his back facing the mirror as he checks for redness or swelling. He reaches back to touch the area gingerly and he thinks Antoine would have insisted on doing his own inspection.
Jason eats some fries bursting with carbs, powerless to keep from imagining Antoine's eyes widening in shock.
The cut on his back itches to become a scar.
