I'm going skydiving tomorrow. Haven't given it too much thought, other than I expect it will be a blast. It reminds me of this quote from Ghost Dog, which actually comes to me often as I amble through life.

Fiori apparently said he'd rather fight ten fully armored duels than one unarmored duel. Whatever happens, take a pistol to your sword fight.

Oh, one of my frat brothers went into 82nd airborne. He thought parachuting was fun. At first. By the end of his tenure, he'd look up and see 30+ easily breakable things that, if they broke, would kill him. I'm definitely never skydiving without a pressing need. Good luck! Heh heh hehehehe.

Ghost Dog, FTW!

One of those films that I can throw on and watch ANY time!

I hope that in the moments of descent - you find hours of contemplation...

That quote isn't from Ghost Dog, it's from the Hagakure written by Tsunetomo Yamamoto, and was RECITED in Ghost Dog. :P

great quote! i was so shocked first time i watched "ghost dog" i bought an spanish "hagakure" version day after...sometimes this kind of meditations about death and how volatile and meaningless is life and how trascendent and meaninful is death are interesting...anyway, good reading before a skydive xDDDDDDD

Good luck!
