hehehe, i read the notice few days ago and inmediatelly said: "hey! a dominican won the pulitzer, sure harlequinlocke will make some noise about it!" hahaha, i was fucking right!!!

by the way, for me, pulitzer is the REAL GREATEST LITERATURE PRIZE, not that stupid hoax called nobel, so, congrats to diaz and his bank count! In the interview at paper (one damn whole page!) he spoke like a real real humble and nice man and displayed a nice theory about southamerican writers.

Yeah I have checked out various interviews and Diaz is both humble and funny. This is a pretty good one where he even touches upon the novelist as dictator, and also on the difficulty our generation has in conceptualizing life under dictatorship even though it is in the very recent past of just about all Hispanic nations. If you come across the book do check it out; the Spanish sprinkled thoughout it won't confuse you, and you'll be surprised at the authors deep roots in sci-fi.

Found your blog through kenosis. Hope you don't mind me reposting your Jesus v. Satan comic. If not, I'll take it down. Better to ask forgiveness than ask permission blah blah blah. Also, adding you to the list.
