Now here is an athlete I can like. He holds a doctorate in philosophy, speaks 4 languages, & is a chess player. Oh, and on the side he also happens to be Heavyweight Champion. Vitali Klitschko of the mighty Ukraine...behold the domination dealt by Dr. Ironfist to Brit fighter Danny Williams!

I wonder if he's got a pair of orange shorts to show solidarity with his liberal comrades back in the Ukraine...

He wore an orange ribbon along his waist. I had read he was going to wear orange shorts, but as he turned up sporting his usual black BOSS shorts I figure it was an endorsement deal requirement.

Better that way anyway...solidarity with countrymen is great and all, but in the ring it is all about the individual anyway.

I always imagine that if I were a professional athlete I would definitely have adanced degrees and be super educated. I mean most of them have a god 6-8 months off season they could spend travelling universities! So it is funny that Klitschko would be one of the few I have heard of with a PhD considering there is no off season for a boxer.

Anyways, how have you been man?

i know. i just heard last week on the news that top athletes today (in norway), are not having the same priority of getting an education during their years as active athletes, as athletes used to before. i think it comes with the big money. but most athletes going to have a life after they finished with their sports. it would be smart to have a degree to fall back on. not every one is going to make it. which is why a top athlete today with a PhD is so great.

i am other wise fine. thanks for asking. how are you? it been a while here in LJ.
