Ummm...I was wondering when they are do? I kindof want to do one but I can't see anything that says when the fics/fanart is do. I didn't see that in the rules so I'm just wondering.

Never mind....I had to read down more. July 6th - Sept 16th correct?

Sept 14, but yes. We have a posting period rather than a final due date so people can post as they finish (and maybe claim another *g).

Thank u. I kindof have an idea of what I want but I'll check again before claiming for sure. In the middle of writing my own right now but want to do this. Thanks again. :)

Are there any parameters as to length? Obviously most of them will need to be fairly long to develop the plot, but is there a rule as to min/max word count?

Thanks.

Also, I cannot believe I signed up for this. o_O

We did originally have a min word count listed, but then I thought about it and figured that, as you say, given the type of fic and the prompts etc, people would probably exceed that min in any case, so we removed it. So, no, no official minimum. *g*

So um, is there an unofficial minimum? Because I've recently been on a bit of a snippet/ficlet/stuff in between 500 and 2,000 words streak, and since some of the prompts might be read as an AU-setting to play in ...

Ought I to tell my bunnies to fight it out among themselves and settle for writing one long-ish fic before September 14th, or can I also opt for writing several pieces that are stand-alone and complete in themselves but don't actually show (as opposed to hint at or refer to) all parts of the prompt?

We'd like to see it be at least 1000 words; prompts like these normally take some fleshing out, so we figured people would hit that and more.

You mean, for example, using the prompt where Kris is won by Adam in a card game, refering to the card game as a given, and starting with the day Adam tells Kris he won him, or even the night he takes Kris to his bed? That would probably be fine.

If you can write one of these prompts in 2000 words or less, more power to you, but please keep in mind that they're meant to be more than 500 word ficlets. Heck, some of the prompts themselves close in on 500 words. *g*

Only saw this now, FML. Can we still claim prompts? :)

Absolutely! You can claim prompts until the fest closes.

Okay...I know this is Kris/Adam but I have a prompt for a threesome...can that count? It's a Kris/Katy/Adam by the way...I know Kradam has to be main pairing but others won't matter?

(why am I asking? I know it won't)(need to do homework but to interesting to leave alone)

No. This comm is Kris/Adam only.

Ok this. I didn't think it would but rather ask to make sure.

Where/ at which page do we post the completed fanfic? Also, what if we're not native and English is not our first language? Is a Beta required or can we just post based on prompt?

You may post your fic here, or post it in your journal and merely post an announcement here. All the posting requirements are in the rules on the community profile, as well as in the rules post that goes up with the prompt claiming post.
