Kal-El strode into the practice arena several days later, muttering about turning the Kryptonian archives into slag even if it set Rokyn society back two thousand years. He went straight for the armory and drew a war sword. In moments he had turned a practice dummy into splintered metal.

I love it when Lex torments the Overlord who could kill him with his little finger!

It may have been future, but it was Harlequin all the way with the captive falling in love in spite of themselves with their kind, indulgent captor. Fabulous!

I read Harlequins back in the day and it was fun mixing SV, old DC canon elements and the Harlequin format.
