This is absolutely great! Both Lex and Clark are very charming in this, but the most awesome part so far is Chloe :)

I never knew I had a taste for historical romance. But Smallville has just such a feudal set-up that it really works in this context.

I like this section. Lex is likable without being too sweet, or too much of a cad. *g* His son is worked in here very well, and Clark--perfect!

i liked the incorporation of Whit, and Chloe!
and this fic has up to now a very nice flow, slow but not too slow.
and clark is lovely described, while lex is, well, lionel hasnt managed to make him an complete resentful character.

Silly Lionel trying to keep Lex and Clark apart! I like your use of all the SV characters (especially Whitney's unexpected appearance in Lex's bed at the beginning! Hot!) and the warm relationship between Lex and Chloe is a nice surprise.
