SCA Fighting Thoughts

So I spent a lot of time the last nine months trying to decide if I'd go back to SCA heavy fighting, and what my approach to it would be if I did.  I had a moment of debate hit me hard because my last fighting episode was at War of the Wings and it was a bad one.  I was enjoying the fighting, until the first field battle. If (a) you lived closer, (b) I owned armor that fit me, (c) we had mutual free time, I'd totally practice with you. I'd love to fight, but I've only got so much time and money, yaknow.

I'm sort of curious as to whether my coat of plates might fit you - I suspect not, as it is.. kind of flawed, on some levels. But you're welcome to try it on, it's something wandering towards what you have pictured.

Video is a very effective tool for learning. Even if you don't have someone to guide you, seeing what your fighting looks like is very helpful in self correcting. Even after all this time I've learned that what a fight feels like and what it looks like are worlds apart.
