Poor Clint! ;_; I could see that though Cap has seen war for real, now that they're Avengers, everybody seems kind of invincible, so it would be a shock to see somebody on the team really hurt.

So it's not so much the battle that has him spooked here, it's the idea of losing a friend that he only just made. Wakes up, begins to readjust, makes some new friends and then might just lose one on his watch. So for me, I figure that Steve will latch on a bit strong to people here at first, while he adjusts to everything.

Oh, and I only have my friends to rely on for actual comic book knowledge. I have a comic-book-reading-disorder: I can't read them. I'm weird, but pictures throw me off completely and I tend to just read the words, which means I lose half the point. Then I get lost and give up. So comic book movies are right up my alley....but I might make some mistakes in my fic. Correct-away!
