Agreed! With pretty much your entire comment. As much as I understand that this was story about the Bishops as much as it was about Olivia considering they are the reason everything is pretty much happening when the show started it was also very much about Olivia being thrust into this world -- that she didn't understand but was a part of (thanks to the cortexiphan trials) -- full of Bishop family secrets. And I LOVE THEM too. I really love Peter and Walter's relationship even when I get annoyed at how the show pushed Peter forward and Olivia back.

I don't despise Peter as a character. [...] I felt incredibly frustrated with him more often than not.

Ahhh, cool thanks! the canon facts given to her in s4 were so messy I didn't remember how it went with her and cortexiphan. But IA. The show, at it's best too, revolved around Olivia, the Cortexpihan Kids, and Us vs Them (Who Are Versions of Us) and when the moved so fast and drastically from that it hurt and a lot of ppl where left suffering whiplash that we didn't recover from. And I mean... I could have cared about Peter/Olivia, for a while there I almost really did, but the show never did great by them and Peter's strongest relationship was always with Walter.

Call me cynical, but for me the show wasn't about them as a couple. It was about strange cases and ZFT and shapeshifters and the altverse in a war with the blueverseSIGH ME TOO. and well, the thing with Olivia's ending... is that it's Blue!Olivia in ( ... )
