What a concept!!! anonymous March 8 2004, 10:57:33 UTC
I love this. LOL. Lots of fun, creativity and oh-too-short moments. Can be in Toby's mind. Can be the real reincarnation. He still kills for him. How true to canon. LOL. I'm just having loads of fun here. I'm hoping "the dog" would deposit something nasty in Katherine McCain's shoes, while her feet are still in them of course. Hope there's more. That surreal dialog between master and pet are good too.

Thanks for your infinite warped mind!!!

Oooh, this is chilling, particularly Toby thinking he wouldn't let Holly know anything about it, he'd clean up the mess and throw the corpse away. Keller instincts in a dog, I don't know if I'd called that a guardian angel, guardian yes, one vicious guardian! LOL, and I did chuckle that the dog didn't like McClain.

No one likes McClain... bitch...

I think Keller would deserve the title, dog, or human of "guardian demon":)

Thank you for the fb!

Aline, it's great you've decided to write this sequel. As someone said before, your "animals" are fantastic! It's good to see you think Chris would continue as Toby's guardian, I also like this idea.

/Strange how you're never too happy with my gifts, Toby, never been; whatever I tried didn't work that good, uh? /

So sad, so true. Luckily it never stopped Chris. And his worries about Holly, it touched me. Just as his reaction to Katherine - it makes me laugh!!! Yeah, Aline, great job, thanks for that!

Thank you, Adriana! I wanted to write it for TS, but it fit here, so... maybe I'll write another one there.
Yeah, maybe I should start writing some "animal series" lol!
It's easy to do, and pleasant and sincerely I can picture Chris as an animal all right. A big cat, a big dog, any fierce wild animal will do.

Thanks to you! I love to write this kind of fic; the hell if I know why, I'm not that crazy about animals!

I'll echo what others of said: you really do fascinating things with animals in your stories! You do an amazing job of making Keller's character come through in animal form. And, like you said, the comparison between Keller and an animal (especially a predator) is a really natural one. I often think of him that way, especially doing what he does in this story. Some of the things he does on the show (like killing Winthrop, for instance) really remind me of a cat (a dog works too!) killing something and dropping it at its master's feet. I also love how Toby covers for what DogChris is doing, which is just so consistent with canon. What a beautiful and imaginative story!

Thank you! Yes, I think Keller's really got a strange personnality; he's not quite human in his reactions, he's perfect as an animal. And although I love cats, I think that dogs are more protective of their human friends, more devoted. I'm not sure a cat would sacrifice itself for someone, I think a dog would... I have an overprotective dog! Men can't come near me. He doesn't mind about woment, but men... No way!

Ooh, Aline, what a neat re-imagining of this relationship. I really loved their "conversation" about the corpse of the dead cat, how Toby would clean it up to prevent Holly from knowing. Creepy, but so true to their characters. Good stuff!

Now I need to go find the first part (I'm a little behind on my journal reading...) Thanks for posting.
