Ooooh, excellent! I would have loved to have seen a scene like that. I can hear Beecher saying "How would I know what you heard?" in that way that just borders on insolent. Great drabble.

I can hear Beecher saying "How would I know what you heard?" There was a version of this line in a book I read as a child. It's always stuck with me. Thanks, Cat.
