I really appreciate you keeping this comm going. I'm sorry I didn't do more writing for it last year (so many good prompts, too!). Unfortunately, 2020 did a number on me and sucked out most of my creative energy/desire. I really hope to write more this year, and this comm (and your incentives!) might give me that extra push I need.
It was a hard year, but I'm hoping this year will be better and more conducive to creativity. Thanks for your support and participation through the years. I couldn't do this without you.

The big trend of 2021 so far is sea shanties! I don't know how to turn that into a prompt though. Something like... technology in Oz? What if they'd had cell phones. Sexts? LOL I *can* see a lot of them gorging on Internet and forgetting to murder each other. Maybe all their beef now is with bandwidth overage fees and drawing the short straw on having to call Comcast. LOLOL
Has there been any talk about moving entirely to cross-posting with the hardtime100 community on Dreamwidth? I think there could be some participation there, esp. with the upcoming Ozfest (details after Magi wraps up) that will also be hosted (& posted) on Dreamwidth.

Ooh, yeah, I could maybe do something with tech for the long challenges. That would be fun. I have not seen the sea shanty trend, but maybe if I have a wild impulse, I'll prompt for a pirate AU. Great suggestions!
I can't remember if it was you and I or maybe ozsaur and I, but when I came on as maintainer, I did ask if I should be updating the Dreamwidth community as well. I definitely want to keep the comm here, but if there's a way to re-upload the current content from here to there, I could see having both of them open.
Ozfest sounds like fun. Can't wait to see what you all have in mind. Send me a message if it looks like I don't see it. We have such a great little fandom here and I'm glad that we've managed to keep it going for so long!

Pirates, someone talks like a pirate, there's a new "pet" program (parrots!), wearing an eyepatch (a surprising percentage of characters needed them), pirating as a verb...; also, vanillalime has a terrific graphic for Talk like a Pirate Day (somewhere? I can't rem where I saw it).
I talked to ozsaur and she'll be importing the comm over the next few days, and doing whatever needs to be done to get you set up there too. *fistbump*
ETA: Import is complete! I've made you a maintainer/admin and updated the profile, but obvs you can change whatever you'd like :)
