I also like the little side note about Sean, as though she's almost as protective of him as she is of Toby.
Nice job with the prompt!

It's funny, I have to keep reminding myself that the Sean-Holly relationship is only in my head, and not canon. I love the idea so much, it's second nature to me now.

I don't remember the conversation either, but I'm glad this came of it.
...hmm, I remember talking to someone about how over the years, Holly might come to know the guards - was that you? I feel like her being friends with Murphy was specifically mentioned. (Since I was involved, it probably was.)
Obviously, of course, I love Holly stories. And I love stories where she takes after Toby.
And giving us Ghostie!Gary is perfectly shameless of you.
I love Holly being a fearless criminal, ready to bump her dad out of jail. It sounds like he doesn't know it's happening, so damn, I wish we got to see his reaction to finding out his daughter would do this.
I have such a backlog of Oz-fic to read. This was lovely!

You have a such talent for coming up with intriguing ideas that make me want stories for them. Maybe because we share similar interests? I'm pretty sure you're thinking of this Murphy story I once wrote in which he connects with Holly and Victoria while they're at Oz for visiting day. (Annnnd I see now that that story was also inspired by another comment of yours, so yes.)
It's nice to think of Holly as growing up to be a nice, well-adjusted woman despite the traumas from her childhood, but it's more FUN (to me) to envision her as a much more complex individual, battling those demons and maybe not always coming out the winner.
I wish we got to see his reaction to finding out his daughter would do this.
See, there you go again! :D
