I am thrilled to be stepping in as moderator for the hardtime100 community. This was the first place I was able to try my hand writing Oz fic, so being able to help out here is like a dream come true.

Hooray! I'm so glad that you're here.

I am happy to try to fix the tags with you! Maybe we could gather up a few volunteers and divvy up the work. Or... yeah, brainstorm something else. That whole thing still really grates my cheese.

I was thinking that changing the tags on the challenge prompts might be the way to start and then looping in the individual responses. I don't know how detailed we want to be with the tags because tagging for characters or particular authors might also be a fun side project, but then we'll have 600 or so tags- does LJ limit the number of tags for a community?

It's been kind of a Zen exercise for me to update them. I discovered the magical place where tags can actually be edited so that's a good thing (I'm only in 2005 as far as tagging the drabbles goes, but I really didn't want to have to redo the numbering system). Tagging authors would probably be the next step - some communities have a very simple "author: name" tag, so I might try that next. You are more than welcome to help with the tags if you want. We could do it by year or you could start from 2018 & work backward as I work forward. I also need to drop a note on Discord that there are new prompts.

I can't think of anyone more qualified to mod this community than the Drabble Queen! I know the community is a mess right now because of the tags, but I will do whatever you need to help.

I've been neglecting Hardtime100 for a while now, and I'm so happy to see how excited you are about the comm and Oz. I can't wait to see what kind of prompts you come up with!

Thank you so much! It really is an honor to do this.

I was going through the challenge prompts last night and you did a helluva lot of work here during the last decade. Not just with the prompting and the updating of the tags, but making sure to respond to everybody's posts, which is something I always appreciated.

I hope you like what I come up with and that maybe a prompt or two will inspire you. And yes, I will come to you with questions if I need anything.

I was going through the challenge prompts last night and you did a helluva lot of work here during the last decade.

It was a lot of work, but it was a pleasure to contribute to the fandom. Hardtime is one of the oldest, continuously running fan writing communities, and I'm thrilled that you've taken up the baton to keep it going!

And I'm sure there will be more than one prompt that inspires me! :-)
