Wonderfully poignant! Such an intense scene. Murphy being a piece of normality in a sea of drama is perfect. Loved the description at the end of folding space between them. Very emotional writing!

With the exception of a few questionable moments here and there (for which I blame the writers) I really liked Murphy and wanted, in a small way, to capture that here.

The heaviness of what exists between Toby and Chris is so inescapable that distance only makes it press down more. I always liked that longing between them even when they weren't together and wanted to capture it in some way.

I miss your fics, immensely. It was a wonderful surprise to see this, now.
Their relationship is so emotionally charged, the connection is almost physical.
This feeling, when they are far apart, the longing and missing someone, reminds me of the Portuguese word 'saudade'.

It's been ages since I posted an "Oz" fic (or fic for any fandom). I needed to give myself a good kick in the pants :-)

I'm really glad to hear you like this story. I love the idea that even though they're apart the emotional and lingering physical connection is as strong and real as it ever was.
