Character: Lenny Burrano - Yeah, I really love my fanon. Always wondered what happened to him, how he just left the show without dying horribly or something...

I've always been fascinated with his character, because he seemed like two different people - talking about firing squads one minute, then telling Schibetta that he's out the next. So I like the backstory you've given him - it seems to make sense in the context of the show. Nicely done!

For that, they really should have expanded on him, I think. To see how those two identities would clash - he plays them both so well, giving Petey a pat on the shoulder during his breakdown, interrogating Nino and even mocking him during it, locking heads with McManus, listening to Diane confide to him about her problems at home...

Still, him just disappearing like that could have meant he went into witness protection. I can see him getting ready to leave, dropping off hints to the hacks that he's had enough of Oz, doing business with Nappa one last time like everything's running accordingly...by the time he's gone hacks are thinking he's a drifter after all who can't stay in one place and completely forgets that he ever existed and mob's thinking damn it! (but they don't get enough screentime to show an reaction)

Very plausible! The character just disappeared and I always thought the worst.

well, the characters who do suffer miserable ends usually do so on-camera...so maybe he just got out oz curse-zone in time like Diane did...
