The truth is, I doubt I'd be any better at resisting Keller's charms :-) And when it seems innocent enough, it's easy to allow yourself have fun with it.

Thanks so much. I'm impressed how long this fandom has been going strong and even though it's smaller than what it was, there's still this ongoing sense of community and creative inspiration and I'm really proud to be part of it in some way.

I always loved interactions between Chris and Sister Pete. There was always a rift between them, but at the same time there was respect for Pete on Chris's part and Pete still grudgingly caring for Chris.

You capture them very well here; the way Chris manipulated Pete, and how she in turn began to doubt herself.

I loved their interactions too. They played off each other really well even when they were coming at the same thing from different directions -- it made it really fascinating to watch them. She may have known better and he may have been using her for his own (Beecher driven) purposes, but, as you noted, there was still respect on his part for her and she did care about him.
