I loved when we got to see these unexpected moments with Said, when we got to see his heart a bit more than his brains. I loved the "almost" of their story.

Oh, very nice. I like the allusion to violence (crosshairs) and the thought that he, too, sometimes thinks of the politics and the rhetoric as burdensome.

I loved Said's drive and determination, but it was also exhausting. I can only imagine that there were times when he wished he could be free of it, it only for a moment.

Love this glimpse of the other side of Said. He is always on and seeking the spotlight. There was always so much more to him than that. Lovely!

Thank you! I loved the times we got to see his vulnerable side. It was such a strong and moving contrast to his more bold, in your face side. It was this reminder of the heart that beat within.
