How can you capture him so dead-on in this limited space? I've always felt so bad for Bonnie, and this so tugged on my heart strings:

Bonnie’s face crumples in a way that’s all too familiar. Chris moves closer and leans in, lips grazing her ear as he whispers in it. “You’re crazy, baby.”

Poor thing never stood a chance. Wonderful, A!
