HT100 Challenge #144 - Candy Hearts - "Be Mine"

Prompt: HT100 Challenge #144 - Candy Hearts
Word Count: 206 (yeah, a tad over)
Authors Notes: So sweet it's practically crack-fic. For what it's worth, all the sayings I use here are actual conversation heart phrases, so I didn't just make any up.

"Be Mine."
As soon as he'd pushed the small candy toward Chris, Toby went back to reading his book, feigning nonchalance.
They sat at the small table in their pod, just enjoying the companionable silence. Toby had pilfered a bag of the chalky candy hearts from Sister Pete's office earlier in the afternoon and they had been munching on them for a few minutes.
Chris turned from his magazine when he saw Toby slide the candy across to him. He read the words and grinned.
He dug through the bag, looking for the just the right response, eating the ones that weren't. He smiled when he found it and slid the candy in front of Toby.
"I'm Yours."
Toby grinned slyly and grabbed the bag.
"Do Me."
Chris grinned, searching again.
"Yum Yum."
The game continued.
"Hunny Bun."
Chris gave a huff and saw Toby trying not to laugh.
"Sugar Pie."
They both snorted disgustedly.
"Kiss Me."
"Want To."
"Bite Me."
"Eat Me."
"Want Me."
"I Do."
"Love Me."
Chris smiled. He went through the bag one last time and stood up, walking behind Toby. He leaned forward, placing the last candy down directly on the table as he kissed the side of Toby's forehead.
"Always."
