I've read some fic where Keller detaches before he does the deed, so to speak. He's a violent man, I think, and whether or not he actually enjoys breaking *Toby's* bones, he does get some kind of rush from the physicality of the violence. I think he's IN it, very much present, willing to feel everything, buoyant, even. I tried to give a sense of that.

Oh, Toby. A little kitty in a room with a Rottweiler, a German Shepherd and a Doberman. My, my. ;)

This is awesome! I love the rawness and honestly, this scenario was the first thing that came to mind seeing the flash fic challenge. I can just see Keller aroused by reliving the incident. Damn fine writing, too!
