I stared at my book without understanding a word; for a second, I couldn’t even remember which book it was. The sound of Chris exhaling sharply, again and again, seemed as loud as thunder in my ears.

My eyes shifted to watch him. He mouthed numbers silently with each push-up.

A., Excellent, what more can I say, I feel like I'm in that room watching them, watching Chris do those push-ups, with that silent counting, the heavy breathing, you can feel the intensity of the movements, the concentration, no wonder Toby was distracted*g*

Yes, I can't imagine anything with a pulse not being at least a *little* distracted by Keller doing push-ups. LOL

I can just about feel the ticking of the clock with distraction so heavy in the air, and the last line, love that, sort of just fades out. And Chris doing push-ups... no bad in that. Love it, A.!

Thanks-I'm glad you liked it! And yes, there really is not one molecule of bad in Chris Keller doing push-ups. Kind of hard to go too wrong there... *g*
