This is actually just the prologue for a much longer series, although God only knows when that series will be written. Way over the word limit, but this challenge was too tempting to pass up. It was inspired by some recent(ish) discussions about Keller's history and background - it seems to be accepted fanon that Keller had a horrible childhood. So

Wow, I love this set up, Erin. Very intriguing role reversal while retaining many core essentials. (Well, I'm one who doesn't beleive Oz *turned* Toby into anything; the potential for all his behavior was always there, he'd simply kept it bottled up better on the outside.)

The opening scene with Keller and O'Reily is a great mirror of them, blatantly using each other, not an ounce of trust in sight. LOL

I'll look forward to more of this.

Thanks, I'm so glad you liked it! And yeah, I agree that Toby was always that man - Oz just brought it out of him. Of course in this universe he's just a bit more Kellerish, for reasons that will be explained eventually. :)

I also believe OZ didn't change Toby, everything was already there, waiting to be liberated.

Thanks, Luci. I'm planning to finish There Is A God - Keller Be Thy Name first, but after that I should be getting back to this. And I agree with your thoughts about Toby.
