Um, the bones of this flashfic were contained in a little orphaned snippet I posted to my LJ over a year ago. Then this lovely challenge came up and I said to myself: Ah! Hey, I remember this snnippet, I have it printed! I loved this conversation between them, and the way Toby thinks about Chris' past.Very nice.:)

You remember it? Cool! And thanks! I'm glad I finally had a good excuse to pull this out and polish it up a bit more. A full story never really came to me out of it, but this little flash fiction seemed just right. :-)
