[There's some clattering heard as someone takes a sip from a cup. Is it coffee or tea? No idea. A satisfied sigh and the cup sits back down on the saucer before a voice begins to speak. It is, which might explain why the natives don't help, and just leave us to clean up the mess. Turn it into a whole "kill or be killed" type of situation.

I haven't met any of the important locals yet, but... if they lack the ability to protect themselves, shouldn't we protect them?
