Punctuation-a-rific!

I'm quite amused with the blog Shady Characters that tells the unusual stories behind punctuation marks. They've started with the ¶ or 'Pilcrow' and I'm hooked. Next stop, the interrobang‽
Personally, my fave punctuation mark is the § used in US legal texts as a short form for "Section" as in: "Pursuant to § 5.4"

I'm a big fan of the ∴ sign - used in Math proofs everywhere. Although I don't know if it is technically punctuation or not. There are so many symbols in math. Also, ∎ is used to let you know when a proof is complete.

Nick's Baby Theorem:
====================
Axiom A: Children = Time * Money
Axiom B: Time = Money
Axiom C: Money is the root of all evil

1) Children = Time * Money
2) Children = Money * Money [B
3) Children = Root(Evil) * Root(Evil) [C

∴ Children = Evil

Hehehhhehehehe. There ought to be a 'judgemental ostrich librarian', too... That would be good therapy for having to be non-judgemental all day long to kids who like to read drech.
