Congrats on getting your idea up on the stage, that has to feel pretty good. You're reports on the Duke situation have really brought my attention to it, and have really given a perspective that you just don't find in the media. I truly hope no one on that campus needs to find themselves running from riots.
And congrats on being in the tournament, I can't say that about my school (not even the NIT sheesh). I had to live vicariously through a school that my father dropped out of.

I don't think it's you really, I think it's just your school. I don't know where Duke hatred started, but the only people I know who go there are you and Tamara Gayle, and I don't even know if she watches basketball. People just dont like Duke and they happen to know that you go there. It's not like you play for the fucking team and are responsible for their losses. I haven't said anything to you about Florida winning, but I have seen people posting references to you (eric and mac). The references didnt seem that bad, but if people are constantly IMing you and leaving voicemails, I can see that being annoying. At least you are blessed with a basketball team that is guaranteed to make headlines and make the tourney every year. To make you feel better, I didnt get to experience the celebration either. I also think the Lacrosse situation is really fucked up and I hope your school handles it as best they can. If those kids are guilty, they better get punished or you should get your pasty ass out of there. Peace.

i actually just saw urinetown here at UF. it was good, kind of marches to the beat of a different drummer, or whatever it is they say. that sucks about everything goin' on up there, when i first heard about the story i knew it was just not gonna be pretty all around. stay safe up there.

If you're referencing me, I don't imagine I've been doing all that much toward you since we won(I said that you would probably dislike the idea of Billy D winning more than the idea of Joakim winning, but that's about it). I mean, yeah, I will reference the fact that we won for a year, but the way I imagine it, I will nearly always just mention it in passing. I mean, it is a damn year. I'm not trying to make fun of the Duke basketball team, that wasn't ever really my game. An optimist, I'm more concerned with our winning. If I have referenced Duke recently, it would have been about the Lacrosse deal because, well, a bunch of rich white kids representing a school of rich white kids raped a poor black woman within a setting of poor black people. That's just ridiculous.

I always think it's funny when us Florida fans knock Duke. Just because,we're the freaking FLORIDA GATORS! It's not like we're Ole Miss, we're the University of Florida. Schools would kill to have our athletic program, athletes, facilities, etc... We're hated everywhere we go. Florida in its football heyday was hated nationally just as much as Duke is

Anyways, I just like busting your balls (and as you know, would fully expect it from you if UF loses to spurrier at the swamp next year, or anything like that) Goodluck with Urinetown and I'll see you at the J this summer
