I remember taking my swing through the blues, thinking it might be my particular niche. The Top 40 stuff certainly wasn't doing it for me. Classical music, Mozart and the boys, was good, but it wasn't really me; I guess my blood wasn't that blue. B. B. King and that sort of rocked out blues was great. Music isn't high on my list of life priorities either, but B.B. King was one of my favorites as well. He was one of the giants. He made Lucille sing.

Watching people smoke at Sing Sing in that video from the '70s is a trip.

I thought it was a trip when 10 dollars for a meal was supposed to be more than a snack - ah, the 1970s!

Right? When you could go to the grocery store and spend less than the rent for a month of groceries.

The '70s was when prices really started to skyrocket. My mom and dad bitched about it constantly. At the time I got annoyed by it. Now I totally understand.
