[Almost tripped by the red blur, Ys braces his forearm against the wall to catch himself. It takes a moment to regain his balance, and once he does, Ys turns towards the creature. It's whining at him. A loose pokemon in the city?

Followed a moment later by another voice, sounding further away but getting closer fast. ]

[And Eagle rounds the corner, sliding to a much less dramatic stop than his Pokemon had. ]

[Freya had ready a snipe remark as the vulpix's trainer arrived. She relaxed minutely. Her trainer would decide if this were a battle or not.

Ys had no inclination of the sort; Freya returned to his side at a gesture. This man he'd spoken with several times, Eagle, wasn't it? He was interesting.]

Not at all. The fast ones can be easy to loose track of, can't they?

[Walking the streets in the afternoon is almost nice. It passes the time, and becoming familiar with the area was never a bad idea. Ys didn't know that many people in Goldenrod, a handful he recognized on sight, but the city has a central location so perhaps he shouldn't be surprised to hear a familiar voice calling out from behind him. Ys turns to look at him.

Ah, the boy who trained with his pokemon. ...was he moonlighting as a pack-mule?]
