I'm the same way about sleep. Sorta. I'm scared to sleep fearing I will not wake up and die in my sleep. So the doctor gave me some medication that helps me shut my brain off. It isn't a narcotic. So no worries about addiction. I put my TV on timer and set the volume low. And that is the only way I can get to sleep.

I'm sorry, that sounds awful... I've considered medication before, but eh, me and medicine don't get along very well. ^^~
